1) Town Hall Meeting, Sunday, April 14, 2019

Come see your Firefly friends and make some new ones at the Firefly Town Hall!

Learn about Firefly, the different cores, and how to volunteer. There will be a buffet of light fare and a cash bar for beverage service.

When: Sunday April 14th, 3pm – 6pm
Where:  Mount Vernon Restaurants & Pub, 14 Broadway, Somerville, Massachusetts 02145

Visit the Event on Facebook and invite all your friends!

Email questions about the Town Hall Meeting to: lead@fireflyartscollective.org.

2) Help out Firefly Sanctuary by responding to a questionnaire (and Sanctuary wants a co-lead!)

Question 1. Do you know of an accessible space in Boston for a ~20 person training? I am working on scheduling one Sanctuary training in the Boston Area in May and one in June, to supplement the trainings at SFTYrd and at Firefly. I'm looking for accessible locations that can fit around 20 people. I have some options but am hoping to find the most accessible space possible.

Question 2. Do you know of a training date that will be in conflict with another important event/date? With this many people it will be impossible to find the perfect dates, but I at least know to avoid Porchfest weekend and other holidays like Memorial Day. Do you know of any other dates to avoid?

Question 3 and separate form. Do you have opinions or ideas for Sanctuary? I would love to hear them! Email sanctuary@fireflyartscollective.org or fill out this form which prompts for specific feedback.

Co-lead wanted: Want to see behind-the-curtain of how Firefly is organized, and contribute your ideas? Join me as co-lead of Sanctuary! It will mostly be writing emails, but also it's fun to interact with the other leads and the Board and see how this ship miraculously runs so well.

Respond to sanctuary@fireflyartscollective.org before May 2019 with any suggestions, dates, opinions, or if you are interested in co-leading.

Cheers, Nate "Zieve," he/his/him, Sanctuary Lead-but-hopefully-Co-Lead 2019
