Hi, Fireflies!

I know it’s the off season, but I’m looking for a very special person to fill a new role: Newbie Liaison.

If you’re interested in:

• Preserving the culture that makes Firefly so magical
  
• Making sure everyone knows how to treat the land
  
• Helping first-time Fireflies learn how to survive and thrive at what might be their first-ever burn
  

Then you might be this special person!

The Newbie Liaison will be a part of the Exec Cluster and Festcomm. We have ideas about the responsibilities:

• Field emails with questions, mostly by directing people to the right page on the website or the right person to email 
  
• Think about the best ways to disseminate information to new Fireflies, and do so
  
• Co-organize an orientation event (probably in May)
  

But the person who takes the role can help shape the role.
