The Firefly event still has open leadership positions. There are lots of different types of opportunities for people to help out.
For more info, go to the Open Leadership page on the website. Also, here are the current open positions and contact info if you have questions or are interested:
Placement Core Co-lead: Email placement@fireflyartscollective.org
"Temple of Perception" by Dave Hourihan will be the Firefly 2020 Temple.
For information about the Firefly Temple and previous years’ temple descriptions and pictures go to the Temple Page on our website.
If you were involved in the Temple previous years and your temple description and pictures don't appear on the Temple Page, please contact tish@fireflyartscollective.org if you want to add your year’s temple to the Temple Page. It can be as little as the name of the temple and the artist or that, description, and pictures.
In case you missed it: Firefly Arts Collective will organizationally and financially support experimental new Burn events growing out of the Firefly community. We are now requesting open discussion that will lead to formal proposals by motivated new leaders, and are looking for feedback on the program through March 2. We hope to receive proposals and make sponsorship decisions in late Summer 2020.
Full details on the program can be found here.
We welcome feedback on any aspect of this process via this form or in email to altburn@fireflyartscollective.org.
List your theme camp on the Firefly website! Simply fill out the Theme Camp Listing Request form and we'll post it. Any images shouldn't be more than 1000px wide.
You can see the past and current theme camps here.
Note: Since we start creating the web site several months before placement, posting your web site listing is handled separately from registering your theme camp. You must still register your themecamp with Planning (not happening for a month or so) to get placement.
Contact communications@fireflyartscollective.org if you have any questions.
