Firefly Rangers looking for more volunteers
Greetings Fellow Fireflies! Are you getting excited about Firefly? The Firefly Rangers are! We are looking for volunteers who: 1) Have been to Firefly before* 2) Can be sober & responsible for a 4–hour shift 3) Understand that one of the Rangers' most important tasks is: DO NOTHING. 4) Are willing to wear a khaki costume and carry a radio 5) Care enough about their fellow Fireflies to help upon request 6) Understand that Rangers are participants first and have no authority over others in the Community. Most Rangers spend a lot of their shift walking around in pairs as "Dirt Rangers." We also have a stationary "Outpost" role (in the field by Sanctuary), or if you are good with technology we also have an "Echelon" role (basically running Ranger Head Quarters): both roles will need filling each shift! Rangering is a super-fun way to volunteer with our Community. We are very supportive of one another as a team of Rangers and of our Community as a whole. You'll never be asked to do something you are not comfortable with. We'll be happy to answer any questions you may have or listen to any comments, complaints, suggestions, or other useful input you'd like to share. (please see email info below.) If you are interested, please fill out the 2014 Ranger Survey: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Ps9pUNU7MPkKWvJYg0HIiuY1hS3OOO16WibKzkkciLQ...
