Are you good in a crisis? Apply to be an Officer of the Day for Firefly 2022!

Officers of the Day volunteer to coordinate and lead any volunteer response to any emergency that happens at Firefly. During their shifts, Officers of the Day work closely with the Firefly Board Member on Call to plan and may end up responding to a wide variety of situations! This shift is a great way to help the Firefly community while working closely with other Firefly organizers and gaining hands-on leadership experience in the field. Each shift is 24 hours (1pm to 1pm) and begins and ends with attending the Firefly-wide “noon meeting”.

Our ideal volunteer has prior experience in an emergency or crisis situation and is excited to put their skills to use! They also are available to attend a full day of training on Sunday, May 22nd in Malden, MA.
