Simpler this year - now there’s NO postal mail required. Apply now - it’s just like any other ticket registration, but with an added email step.* Requesting assistance is simple and requires no personal documents. * Fireflies can request a ticket for zero dollars, or, you can name a reduced ticket amount you are able to pay. Chances of getting an offer are the same either way. * Tickets are paid for by a limited program budget. This year it's $1160. * Tickets are awarded in a randomized and need-blind way, until the budget is exhausted. After that: further applicants may receive offers on a rolling basis if more funds have been gifted by the community. - Want to gift more money towards the fund? Any Firefly can gift to increase this year’s program budget - look for this option when you buy your tickets. Gifted funds allow more Fireflies to receive assistance.
