Apply now - it’s just like any other ticket registration, but with an added email step.* Requesting assistance is simple and requires no personal documents. * Fireflies can request a ticket for zero dollars, or, you can name a reduced ticket amount you are able to pay. Chances of getting an offer are the same either way. * Tickets are paid for by a limited program budget. This year it's $1160. * Tickets are awarded in a randomized and need-blind way, until the budget is exhausted. After that: further applicants may receive offers on a rolling basis if more funds have been gifted by the community. - Want to gift more money towards the fund? Any Firefly can gift to increase this year’s program budget - look for this option when you buy your tickets. Gifted funds allow more Fireflies to receive assistance. Smol Grants + BEX and Skillshare Extensions

Hey Fireflies! Two pieces of exciting art grant news: 1. BEX <https://www.fireflyartscollective.org/participate/art-at-firefly/art-grants…>and Skillshare <https://www.fireflyartscollective.org/participate/art-at-firefly/art-grants…> deadlines have been extended. Artists who have already applied have received their funding decisions, but we'd like the opportunity for more folks to apply. The new Skillshare deadline is *4/30* and the new BEX deadline is *5/14*. 2. We are now accepting applications for Smol Grants <https://www.fireflyartscollective.org/participate/art-at-firefly/art-grants…> ! Smol Grants are a category of grant which are being newly piloted in 2018. They are awarded in lesser amounts than a full Creativity Grant (between $40 and $99), and are meant to help cover expenses associated with projects of a small (or “smol”) size or scope. The Firefly Ticketing Team has simplified a few things, updated our documentation, and we're ready for you to register for Firefly! So head on over to https://volunteer.fireflyartscollective.org, set up an account for yourself (or use the same one from last year), sign up for the volunteer opportunities, and click on the blue "click here to register" link at the top. Answer the questions in the registration form and you're done. No snail-mail is required this year.
